概论予热的定义,系指在废钢进入熔炉容器以前给炉料加热。在熔化技术中,予热并不是个新概念,从理论上讲予热可用以:1.用较低价格的燃料,以代替相对价格高的电能来降低电炉熔化的炉料所需费用。2.在熔炉以外,提供部份的熔化所需的能量以增加生产。在1961年,美国矿务局的李瑞,菲尔布鲁克及米歇尔等报导提出,电炉熔化能量的30%可用价格低于电能的燃料(如煤气重油、或天然气,译注),来提供。这种理论证实是正确的,
Introduction The definition of preheating means heating the charge before the scrap enters the furnace vessel. In the melting technology, preheating is not a new concept. Theoretically, heat can be used to: 1. Reduce the cost of melting the furnace charge with a lower price of fuel instead of the relatively high price of electricity. 2. Outside the furnace, provide some of the energy needed to melt to increase production. In 1961, the reports of Li Rui, Phil Buluke and Michelle of the US Bureau of Mines suggested that 30% of the melting power of the electric furnace could be provided by using fuels (such as gas, heavy oil, or natural gas) with lower prices than electric energy.
