湖南 15所中等职业学校,从 1998年新生中确定一个专业开展职业素质教学模式运行实验,专业实体化是该实验的一项重要内容。专业实体化就是把专业办成实体,既是教学实体,又是生产、经营 、服务实体,师生既是教学人员,又是生产、经营、服务人员。专业实体独立进行教学以及与专业教学相关的生产、经营、服务等活动,将传授知识、培养能力、提高素质融为一体,成为具有教学、科研、生产、经营、服务、管理等多种功能的综合性组织。衡阳铁路工程学校作为实验学校,按照课题组的设想进行了专业实体化的探讨和实践,事实显示:专业实体化搞活了学校,给学校带来了勃勃生机。
