Now people go to Okinawa, more is to travel. Tourists love the sunshine, coast, beach goods readily available. But 66 years ago, Americans who landed here for the first time could not even have a holiday. They just wanted to go home early. At the beginning of 1945, the Second World War was coming to a close, but the historical witnesses at the time were still vague about the forecast of developments. The battle one by one, the Soviet army has entered the German territory, or soon after the battlefield in Europe is coming to an end, the banner of the Soviet Union will be plugged in the walls of Berlin. Since the Midway defeat Japan, the Americans pushed all the way north again and hit New Japan, the Mariana Islands, the Philippines, Luzon Island and the Sulfur Island in succession. At this time in front of the cross, is Japan’s southern home last barrier, Okinawa. Because of its strategic position in Japan’s homeland defense, Okinawa became Japan’s home country.
