铸工车间用于浇铸轴承整体保持器铜套的514离心浇铸机由天水铸造机械厂生产。原机的工件顶出机构是通过电机——蜗杆——蜗轮——丝杠这套减速机构来实现顶出动作的。由于没有顶力调整限制和安全保险装置,在发生误操作时(端盖销子未抽掉)或铜套卡死的情况下,开动顶出机构,将造成机器本身的某些薄弱部件损坏。在我们使用该机不到一年的时间中,就因此造成三个蜗轮箱体的破裂和一些顶板的破裂,价值约8千元。为此,对该机构作了彻底改造,废弃了原来的机械刚性传动,采用液压传动来实现顶出动作。我们利用车间原有的一个简易液压装置改装而成,改造费用仅1千元。经一年多的运行,工作平稳可靠,没有发生任何故障,彻底解决了顶坏机体的问题,取得了良好效果。改进后的顶出机构有
