Fuyang, Zhejiang is located in Hangjiahu Plain. Since the promotion of Shuangjiangyao-Sanmian system in the late 1970s, “a transplanting of wheat and transplanting of rice” has been the main planting mode of grain production. In recent years, with the rapid socio-economic development, grain production has gradually shifted from one household to one large-scale operation. The traditional planting methods can no longer meet the requirements of current grain production due to the labor costs.
