“只要企业有效益,我要尽力回报社会。”这是梁灼林办企业的宗旨。8年前,从香港前来粤北山区乐昌市坪石镇筹办火力发电厂(B厂)的梁灼林,是南海市大沥镇人,经过8年的艰苦创业,在乐昌市武江河上游的荒坡地上新建了一座年发电量24.5万千瓦的火力发电厂。如今,一幢幢崭新的厂房,150米高的烟囱耸立在武江河畔。第一期工程2台共12万千瓦的机组在正常运行;第二期装机12.5万千瓦的工程也正在紧张施工。预计2002年可上缴国家税收约3000万元,今年1～5月已纳税1200万元,为乐昌市的财政收入增添了新亮点。
