Since the 1990s, the reason why Japan is in the initiative and leading position in the international market competition is inseparable from the Japanese companies’ continuous development of new strategies for product development. There are several new changes in strategies and measures for product development’s new strategy: 1. Use Global Communications Network to understand market demand and make new product development choices. Japanese companies regard current intelligence information as a precondition for winning international competition. Many large Japanese companies have established overseas information networks in recent years. For example, Sony has established a global information network system that links British, French, American, and German subsidiaries.
