沙颍河水系属季风气候区,在夏季风盛行时期,本水系易出现暴雨(24 h降水50~110mm)。建国以来,本水系发生的暴雨次数较多,短历时、小范围的暴雨,主要河道不易形成大的洪水;而笼罩面积较大连续长历时暴雨和特大暴雨(24h降水200mm),主要河道易发生大洪水和严重内涝,灾害也较严重。
The Shaying River water belongs to the monsoon climate zone. During the period when the summer monsoon is prevalent, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in this water system (precipitation of 50 ~ 110 mm at 24 h). Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, there have been a large number of torrential rains in this water system. Short-term and small-scale torrential rains and large floodwaters are difficult to form in major river courses. Larger climatic areas have large consecutive long and prolonged heavy rainstorms (200-second precipitation at 200 mm) Floods and severe waterlogging, disasters are also more serious.
