The industrial development speed index is an important indicator reflecting the development and changes of the industrial economy. What kind of calculation method can be used to objectively and practically reflect the speed of industrial development has always been a matter of great concern to leaders and all walks of life. In recent years, we have conducted some theoretical discussions and practical calculations on the calculation method for the reform of the industrial development speed. On this basis, we have formulated a pilot scheme for the industrial production index.
