美国后现代主义作家理查德·鲍尔斯的作品中充满了各类信息技术和生物技术等科学知识,但其背后却隐藏着作者对于生态和自然的深切关注。鲍尔斯认为,人性的异化通过科技的异化造成了自然的异化,进而导致了人类精神世界的荒芜和严重的生存危机。要解决这一生存困境,唯有改变人的精神世界,摒弃纯物欲的追求,从而实现人性的生态性回归。
Richard Bowers, the writer of postmodernism in the United States, is full of scientific knowledge in various fields such as information technology and biotechnology, but behind it is the author’s deep concern about ecology and nature. Bowers believed that the alienation of human nature caused the alienation of nature through the alienation of science and technology, which led to the barren and serious crisis of existence in the human spiritual world. To solve this predicament, only by changing the spiritual world of human beings and abandoning the pursuit of pure material desires, we can achieve the ecological return of human nature.
