Harold Bloom, already in his 80s, was just a few years ago penniless and active in the American critics, but his performance grew more and more like a patron , Not critics. All this can actually be seen in The Western Canon, published in 1994. This rather popular critique of work, while rebuilding the classic sense of criticism of the “hate school” prejudices, but also in many places showed Broome’s personal prejudices. Eleven years later, the translation of “Western Canon” by Jiang Ningkang was published by Yilin Press and became the literary theory most read for the year [1]
