When I was studying in the United States in the late 1980s, my teacher, a wise, elegant middle-aged woman, once told me that their generation was mostly radical and believed in socialism. I asked: now? She smiled: Now we are all “yuppies.” What she meant was that they were assimilated by the community and integrated into the mainstream. However, what is the situation in China? Particularly, what is the youth situation concerning the future of China? This is an issue that not only people care about but also make the world pay attention to. After all, China’s growing economy has gained more and more recognition for its tremendous achievements in the Chinese economy . The spiritual state that represents the future young generation will determine the future of China from the perspective of social consciousness. After all, a society consists of two material and spiritual
