奥地利当代著名作家托马斯·贝恩哈德的长篇小说《寒冻》一直被德语文学批评界视为作者的悲观主义代表作。本文从不同的认识视角出发,对这种论点提出质疑。笔者认为这部小说采用了怪诞的现代喜剧手段,以极端的艺术形象来揭示极端的病态现实。极端的阴暗描写是作者表现现实的一种手段,而不是他本人心灵和精神的自白。严肃与诙谐在阴暗的描写中融为不可分割的统一体。这部小说奠定了作者“笑艺术”的基础。 Austrian contemporary writer Thomas Berienhard’s novel Frozen has been regarded as the author’s pessimistic masterpiece by German literary criticism. This article from different perspectives of understanding, this argument is questioned. The author believes that this novel adopts a grotesque modern comic approach to reveal the extreme morbid reality with an extreme artistic image. Extreme dark description is a means by which the author expresses reality, not his confession of soul and spirit. Seriousness and wittyness blend into an indivisible unity in dark descriptions. This novel lays the foundation for the author “Laughing Art.”
