The purpose of this small-scale boundary layer elemental geochemistry study is to explore the correlation between elemental geochemical anomalies and the extinction of the Miaohe biota, which occur in the Doushantuo Formation. Geochemical samples taken from the Zigui Temple in Hubei cliff slope profile. The 38 trace element abundances of 5 samples were tested in Yichang Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources. The results show that most of the elements have obvious anomalies near the boundary layer, which are higher than those of overlying and underlying strata. ① REE: REE content in the boundary layer near the larger changes, almost simultaneously constitute the peak.
