现代赛马是集体育、娱乐、博彩、商业为一体的活动,深受世界各国人民的青睐。目前。世界上共有2000个赛马场,每年比赛320万次,参加赛马33万匹,全世界赛马奖金总数达3600亿元,全部马票收入为83717亿日元,几乎是天文数字,不少国家的国王、总统都参加赛马,有的还出任名誉会长,现代赛马业在世界的地位和影响由此可见一斑。赛马在我国已有两千年历史,在盛唐时期已居当时世界领先地位。如舞马、马技、马球等项目已具备高等马术雏形。中国赛马场创建于1850年,至1926年全国已有赛马场11处。1933至1945年赛马场有9处,当时赛马场多为外国人独资或与中国合资兴办。80年代以后,改革开放使人民生活水平大幅度提高,开始向往和追求丰富多采的文化享受,在这一历史背景下我国现代赛马业应运而生。我国现代赛马业处于起步阶段,但发展迅猛。经深圳市政府批准,深圳赛马运动俱乐部于1991年4月18日宣告成立,它是新中国第一家专门从事赛马运动的俱乐部,具有法人资
