为了提高大赫兹扩展互作用振荡器(EIO)的输出功率,改进了两段式折叠波导慢波结构,并提出了三段式折叠波导新型慢波结构。分析了折叠波导的色散特性,通过进行三维粒子模拟,研究了单段式、两段式和三段式折叠波导的输出特性。单段式折叠波导EIO最大输出功率为46 W,改进后两段式EIO输出功率提升了84.8%到86 W,并比改进前提高了10.3%,三段式EIO输出功率比单段式提高了143.5%,达到112 W。采用多段式折叠波导作为EIO的慢波结构比单段式具有显著的优越性。
In order to improve the output power of the large-Herz expansion interaction oscillator (EIO), the two-stage folded waveguide slow-wave structure is improved and a new three-stage folded waveguide new-type slow-wave structure is proposed. The dispersion characteristics of the folded waveguide were analyzed. The output characteristics of single-stage, two-stage and three-stage folded waveguides were studied by three-dimensional particle simulation. Single-stage folded waveguide EIO maximum output power of 46 W, improved two-stage EIO output power increased 84.8% to 86 W, and 10.3% higher than the previous improvement, three-stage EIO output power than single-stage increased 143.5%, reaching 112 W. The use of multi-stage folded waveguide as a EIO slow-wave structure has significant advantages over single-stage.
