风格是文学作品的灵魂,是语言形式和语言内容的最高统一。风格的传译是翻译过程中一个不可或缺的部分。本文通过对《永别了,武器》的两个中译本进行案例研究,探讨了文体风格有限度的可译性及风格传译的一般方法。
Style is the soul of literary works, is the highest unity of language form and language content. Style translation is an integral part of the translation process. In this paper, case studies on two Chinese versions of “Farewell to Arms” are conducted to discuss the limited translatability of stylistic style and the general method of style translation.
