坚持正确的舆论导向,是一张报纸的灵魂。坚持正确导向的“舵手”和“第一责任人”,责无旁贷,只能是总编辑。总编辑的第一位工作、第一位责任、第一件考核指标,毫无疑义,必定是舆论导向。 研究舆情、把握导向是总编辑的一项基本功 舆论导向正确与否,不仅事关办报的方向和事业的兴衰,更是党和人民的祸福所系。因此,总编辑必须在导向问题上具有很强的政治鉴别力和政治敏锐性,树立高度的政治责任感,在任何复杂多变的形势面前,保持清醒的头脑,自觉在思想上、政治上与党中央保持一致,服从、服务于全党全国工作大局。为此,就必须认真研究舆情,用科学的方法来研究社会舆论,解释客观存在的舆论现象并预测其发展舆论调控的基本原理,把握舆论导向,促进社会健康发展,这是总编辑的基本功。
