1985年11月8至13日,中国光学学会在上海市嘉定县召开学术年会,集中检阅中国光学科研新成果。除台湾、西藏等省区外,来自全国25个省、自治区、直辖市430个单位的1200余名代表参加了会议。召开上千人规模的学术年会,在中国光学科技史上是第一次。中国科学院技术科学部主任,中国光学学会理事长王大珩教授主持会议,并在欢迎会上讲话。
From November 8 to November 1985, China Optical Society held an academic annual meeting in Jiading County, Shanghai, focusing on reviewing new achievements in optical research in China. In addition to Taiwan, Tibet and other provinces and autonomous regions, more than 1200 representatives from 430 units in 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities attended the meeting. It is the first time in the history of optical technology in China to hold an annual conference of thousands of people. Professor Wang Daheng, director of Technical Science Department of Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of China Optical Society, presided over the meeting and made a speech at the welcoming ceremony.
