Sulfur poisoning for F-T synthesis over an iron commercialcatalyst in a fixed-bed reactor under 2,31 MPa at 504. 524 and 556 K wasinvestigated. According to the intrinsic kinetics for F-T synthesis, adeactivation model with an activity function related to the residual sulfur onpoisoned catalyst was developed. The deactivation rate constants calculatedfrom the deactivation model decreased with the inerease of COSconcentrations, which is in agreement with the experimental phenomenaThe CO conversion obtained from deactivation model fitted the experimentaldata well with the RMSE < 5%,. The saturated amounts of sulfur fed tocatalysts calculated by simulating the deactivation model are in agreementwith experimental data with the deviation of 7.5. 49 and 1.3%. for the COSconeentration of 73 4. 232.4 and 350.8mg.S.m-3 respectively.
