bcl-2为一原癌基因,其易位和高表达与多种肿瘤的发生、转移和耐药性形成密切相关。某些病毒蛋白可通过上调bcl-2的表达而造成病毒的胞内潜伏感染;bcl-2基因位点与自身免疫性糖尿病相关,该基因的过表达可致红斑狼疮样自身免疫病;bcl-2缺陷或表达水平下调与多囊肾和某些神经退化性疾病的发生有关。视具体情况采用调节bcl-2表达水平的策略可能对某些疾病的治疗有一定帮助
Bcl-2 is a proto-oncogene whose translocation and overexpression are closely related to the occurrence, metastasis and drug resistance of many tumors. Some viral proteins can cause intracellular latent infection of the virus by up-regulating the expression of bcl-2. The bcl-2 gene locus is associated with autoimmune diabetes. Overexpression of this gene may cause lupus-like autoimmune disease. The bcl- 2 Defects or decreased expression levels associated with polycystic kidney disease and certain neurodegenerative diseases. Depending on the circumstances, strategies that regulate the expression of bcl-2 may be helpful in the treatment of certain diseases
