佩夫斯纳是20世纪最杰出的艺术史家、建筑与设计史家之一,他对设计史研究的影响至深至远。可以说,今天的设计史研究要么是继承佩夫斯纳,要么是批判佩夫斯纳,但都不可能绕过佩夫斯纳。对佩夫斯纳设计史研究方法的探析,对于目前尚处于起步阶段的中国设计史写作具有重要的启示作用。 Pewsner is one of the twentieth century’s most prominent art historian, architect and designer of history, his influence on the study of history of design far. It can be said that today’s study of the history of design is either to inherit Peffner, or to criticize Pevsner, but can not bypass Pevsner. The analysis of the research methods of the design history of Pevsner has an important enlightenment on the writing of China’s design history which is still in its infancy.
