存在主义文学流派滥觞于法国,流行于欧美,是一种典型的非理性主义文学思潮。其代表及中心人物萨特是二十世纪法国著名的文学家、哲学家及颇具人格魅力的社会活动家。哈罗德·品特则是二战之后享誉世界的杰出戏剧家、英国荒诞派戏剧界之领军人物。因其在剧作中颇具人道主义精神、多次映射政治批判政界而被称为“反战斗士”。萨特存在主义的基本原则与荒诞派戏剧创作的根本信条都是“世界是荒诞的,人生是痛苦的”。而品特戏剧中的日常语言支离破碎、晦涩难懂,人的行为稀奇古怪,各项特征与存在主义无不契合。因此,本文仅从萨特存在主义的视角出发,以期解读品特戏剧中的政治隐喻,论证存在主义哲学思想与文学荒诞派戏剧之间珠联璧合的关系,了解品特这位“反战斗士”的人文关怀、辛辣讽刺及其与政治领域的不解之缘。
Existentialist literary schools originated in France, popular in Europe and the United States, is a typical trend of non-rationalist literature. Its representative and central figure Sartre is a well-known French writer and philosopher in the twentieth century and a charismatic social activist. Harold Pinter was a world-renowned outstanding dramatist after World War II, a leader of the British Absurd Theater. Known as the “anti-warrior” because of his humanitarianism in the play and his multiple mapping of political criticisms and political circles. The basic tenets of Sartre existentialism and the fundamental creed of the drama of absurdism are that “the world is absurd and life is painful.” However, the daily language in Pintere’s drama is fragmented, obscure and mysterious, and the human behavior is bizarre. The features and existentialism are all in harmony. Therefore, this article only from the perspective of Sartre Existentialism, with a view to interpreting the political metaphor in the drama of Pinterthur, demonstrating the relationship between existentialist philosophy and literary theatrical drama, and understanding Pinter’s “anti-warrior ”Humane care, spicy satire and its indissoluble bond with the political field.
