The 68-year-old Jadi Bodmer summoned the whole family to discuss countermeasures and finally came up with a solution: to seek help from non-Jews in Germany and to secure their protection. After the method is decided, the next step is to choose the object of help. The two sons believed that they should ask banker Kim O’Neal for help. The Podmer family is one of Europe’s many timber suppliers. Kim O’Neill made his fortune with the funding of the Podmer family.
