日本学术会议代表团於今年6月来我国访问,他们回国后写了一封信给中国科学院郭沫若院长。信的原文如下: 中国科学院院长郭沫若先生: 前电已经奉告——我们已在6月25日黄昏平安回抵东京。我们应承了苏联科学院的邀请,而访问苏联时,曾向贵国把我们回国途中要访问贵国的希望表示过。关于这一节,贵国方面欣然应允,并且特意以宾客之礼招待,这使我们非常感激。当时贵科学院正在召开学部成立大会,百忙之中,热烈欢迎,特设盛筵。在临别时,又赠与我们有意义的纪念品,连我们的服装也费了相当的关怀。
A delegation from Japan’s academic conference came to visit our country in June this year. After returning to China, they wrote a letter to Dean Guo Moruo of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The original text of the letter is as follows: Mr. Guo Moruo, President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences: Prayers have been announced - We have safely arrived in Tokyo on the evening of June 25. We should have accepted the invitation of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. When we visited the Soviet Union, we had expressed your country’s hope of visiting your country on our way back to China. With regard to this section, we are very pleased to hear from you, and to treat guests courteously. At that time, the Academy of Sciences was holding the founding conference of the Department of Science. During the busy schedule, a warm welcome was welcomed. At the time of parting, we also donated souvenirs that are meaningful to us. Even the cost of our garments is also considerable.
