以泰和乌骨鸡及其黑素为药物直接喂养小鼠，测定实验鼠红细胞过氧化氢酶的活性及血浆过氧化脂质的含量，以探讨乌骨鸡是否具有抗衰老作用。实验结果表明：１）泰和乌骨鸡及其黑素有提高小鼠红细胞过氧化氢酶活性的趋势，但其提高的幅度尚未达到显著水平；２）泰和乌骨鸡及其黑素对老龄小鼠的血浆过氧化脂质含量没有明显影响。
To Taihe silky fowl and its melanin as the medicine, mice were directly fed to test the activity of erythrocyte catalase and the level of plasma lipid peroxidation in the mice to explore whether the silky fowl has anti-aging effect. The results showed that: 1) Taihe Silky fowl and its melanin had the tendency to increase the activity of catalase of mouse erythrocytes, but their increasing extent had not reached the significant level; 2) Rat plasma lipid peroxidation did not significantly affect the content.
