The “Trekking” (pictured on page 40) is based on two waxy tree roots, the roots of which were relatively simple and inverted, revealing the inner shape. “Elephant” legs are tree branches, of which elephant limbs complete, described as heaven. The elephant nose is too short, there is no big teeth, and the lack of left front leg. But the figure and the other three legs full of charm and intensity, very dynamic. So I made a splicing remedy for the left front leg and the big one. Splicing is not easy, the difficulty lies in whether it can “pick live.” The so-called “living”, one must conform to the overall charm; two to comply with root wood ecological trend. In the processing, I choose the same texture, the same thickness of the roots, branches, reached my design requirements.
