From December 1, 1986 onwards, Singapore listed non-smoking as a national code. Smoking in public places is strictly prohibited. Offense violators are fined a maximum of 2,000 Singapore Dollars (about 11,522 RMB). Smokers apply for admission to schools will not be accepted, in the case of a driver’s license revoked.
