Zhang Zuoji, minister of labor and social security, recently signed a ministerial order and released the Trial Measures on Collective Wages Consultation. In the future, all the enterprises in China’s territory will adopt collective wage negotiations and sign wage agreements. Collective wage consultation means that the employee representatives and business representatives conduct equal consultations on the basis of the internal wage distribution system, form and income level of the enterprise in accordance with the law and on the basis of consensus.
