几乎同时上映于2011年暑期的《魁拔》（Cribug）与《兔侠传奇》（Legend of A Rabbit），代表了新世纪以来国产动画电影长片创作的新发展、新高度。在整体技艺风格、文化创意构思、动态形象塑造等三个方面两部影片均呈对立互补之势。通过具有相互质询、相互比照意味的“对勘”，可为中国动画电影创作提供三点启示：其一，准确定位美、日两大参照系核心技艺尺度并采其优长；其二，在“中国风格”与“国际视野”之间实现文化创意的充分融合；其三，在动作表现及动态形象塑造方面积极探索新理念、新技法。
