The emergence and bloom of the cognitive science in 1970s has been spread over the fields of neuroscience,medical science and linguistics.After the blooming of the neural linguistic science,a famous American linguist Sydney Lamb proposes Neurocognitive Linguistic Theory which is the development and reformation on the background of the third generation cognitive science.My research founded in which exploring the diversity of neural-cognitive linguistic systems in different language level such as English and Chinese is one of the main causes of the misunderstanding in intercultural communication is on the basis of Lamb’s theoretical background and neural linguistic science.Neural cognitive linguistic system that is a kind of pure solid relational network is the abstraction from cerebral neural network system.As a result of the uniqueness of every person’s cerebral network,everyone’s linguistic system is diverse and the relationship of linguistic relational network connection is bound to be different.We could conclude the critical and basic cause for the obstacle in intercultural communication derives from this kind of diversity.By virtue of this kind of perspective research,we can make intercultural communication theory(one branch of applied linguistics) possessed more neural cognitive meaning and scientific practical meaning.
