薛晓路导演的浪漫爱情轻喜剧《北京遇上西雅图》与《北京遇上西雅图之不二情书》被认为是国产爱情类型片的典范之作。两部电影在创作中沿用好莱坞相关经典电影的类型化元素,自觉通过互文手法关联前续经典谱系,亦着力通过故事主题、人物形象和影片意境等方面的本土化手法进行创新。由此,影片最终在突破类型片模式的同时实现了创作思路内部的自我突破;在纠正道德倾斜危机的同时,亦呈现出由异域崇拜者转向异乡漂泊客的文化反思。
Xue Xiaolu’s romantic love comedy series “Beijing meets Seattle” and “Beijing meets Seattle’s love affair” is considered a model of domestic love type film. Both films follow the genre-related elements of Hollywood-related classic films in their writing. They consciously intertwine their predecessor’s classical pedigree through intertextuality, and try their best to innovate through the localization of stories, characters and the artistic conception of the film. As a result, the film eventually broke through the genre mode while achieving self-breakthrough in creative thinking. While correcting the ethical tilt crisis, the film also showed cultural reflections from exotic admirers to foreign tourists.
