本文研究一种测量发动机机油消耗量的新方法,即硫示踪法(S——示踪法)。它把发动机机油中固有的硫作为机油示踪剂。这种方法所以能够研究出来,是因为使用了不含硫的燃料,且由于创立了确定排气中二氧化硫示踪量的分析方法。这种方法的测量速度要比排油称重法快,而且用不着采用同位素材料时所需要的专用设备。这种S——示踪法约需20分钟的发动机运行时间,其检测能力为1克/小时。当机油消耗量为20克/小时时,变动系数优于10%。采用本方法取得的结果是令人满意的,并且和使用排油称重法或同位素测量法测得的结果相符。此外,用S——示踪法能够测量出各气缸的机油消耗量以及经由阀导管组或活塞——缸套组而漏泄的机油损耗量。
In this paper, a new method to measure engine oil consumption is studied, that is sulfur tracer method (S-tracer method). It uses the sulfur inherent in the engine oil as an oil tracer. This method can therefore be developed because of the use of sulfur-free fuels and because of the establishment of an analytical method for determining the amount of sulfur dioxide tracer in the exhaust gas. This method measures faster than drain weighing and does not require specialized equipment for isotopic materials. This S-tracing method takes about 20 minutes of engine run time and has a detection capacity of 1 g / h. When the oil consumption is 20 g / h, the coefficient of variation is better than 10%. The results obtained using this method are satisfactory and correspond to the results obtained using oil discharge weighing or isotope measurements. In addition, S-tracer measures the oil consumption of each cylinder as well as the oil loss leaking through the valve manifold or piston-cylinder block.
