The researchers found that eating mangoes or preventing high-fat diets caused by beneficial intestinal bacteria loss, thereby preventing type II diabetes. Scientists at Oklahoma State University in the United States selected 60 mice to experiment, divided them into 4 groups and added mangoes to some of their diets. After 12 weeks of the experiment, the researchers found that mice with dietary supplements with mango lost the least amount of beneficial gut bacteria. Eating a high-fat diet often results in a reduction in the number of these bacteria, which help prevent obesity and type 2 diabetes.
