The trend of military reform with Chinese characteristics determines the direction for the building of a contingent of qualified personnel in our military. The training of compound military commanders is a brand-new task confronting our military. It is necessary to scientifically analyze the connotation characteristics and dominance of compound military commanders; speed up the construction of the main body of compound military commanders; and actively promote the sound development of compound military commanders.
