当一种生物的运动受到光刺激的影响时,根据受光的吸引与否,分别被称为正趋光性和负趋光性,这是千百万年演化出来的昆虫导航系统。它们以星光或月光为坐标,使眼睛始终与某一光源成一角度,以便在夜晚保持直线飞行。它们无法抗拒光的吸引,哪怕是很微弱的光刺激它们也会做出反应。
When a creature’s movement is affected by light stimulation, it is called positive phototropism and negative phototaxis depending on whether the light is attracted or not. This is an insect navigation system that evolved over millions of years. They use the starlight or moonlight as the coordinates, so that the eye is always at an angle with a light source so as to maintain a straight flight at night. They can not resist the attraction of light, even if it is a very weak light to stimulate them to respond.
