The 3-D rigid-plastic compressible finite element method is used to analyze the simulation experiment of the pure lead rolling. The influence of the diameter of the vertical roller on the shape and force parameters of the rolled workpiece is discussed. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results. And got 3-dimensional rolling pressure distribution. A new method of approximating the singular points using ultra-thin elements is proposed, which simplifies the procedure and accelerates the convergence
