住房是人类生存和发展的最基本的物质条件,但是在国内的很多大城市,买上一套住房简直是一件非常遥远的事情。但事实上,过高的房价让大多数居民望而却步。为了保障一些居民的住房,政府应该为他们提供一些支持和帮助,提高住房保障服务。本文主要研究分析镇江市的现行住房保障制度的优点和不足之处,对镇江市住房保障制度改革提出相应的对策,同时也为我国其它地区住房保障制度的完善提供有益的借鉴。一、住房保障制度发展历程 Housing is the most basic material condition for the survival and development of mankind. However, in many large cities in China, it is a very far-reaching affair to buy a house. But in fact, the over-high prices have discouraged most residents. In order to protect the housing of some residents, the government should provide them with some support and assistance to improve housing security services.
