甜菜应用地膜覆盖栽培技术,由于改善了土壤的水、肥、气、热状况,有利于甜菜的生长发育,增产显著。然而,地膜甜菜在生产中往往由于破洞放苗后封土不及时或压膜不严等原因常造成杂草疯长或形成草荒,不仅增加了人工除草的劳动强度,费时、费工、费力,也影响到地膜效应的充分发挥。为此,石河子甜菜研究所在科委的大力支持下,经过两年的试验示范,筛选出了适合地膜甜菜播前土壤处理的除草剂——杜尔,该研究已通过石河子可科委成果鉴定可以大面积推广应用。
