粤东北某些稀土矿化地区,是南岭东段的赣南,粤东北稀土矿化带中的一部分。此带大体上南北延伸,主要由地洼期稀土花岗岩形成,并有地洼阶段的富含稀土流纹质火山岩及次火山岩。此带在大地构造上属于东南地洼区的浙粤地穹系,刚好处在地洼区中的隆起区,东南地洼区的激烈期是中晚侏罗世至白垩纪,而此带成矿的稀土花岗岩则主要是早中燕山期的产物,所以此带的地球化学与大地构造之间是有成因联系的。此外,此带的成岩成矿地球化学作用也是与各种构造作用密切有关的,例如:此带的稀土花岗岩、次火山岩侵入体,在其上部地层被侵蚀后出露地表,与一些稀土火山岩同样受到南方湿热的亚热带气候影响,经风化成为范围广大的稀土风化壳矿床,其形成与第四纪的构造作用也是分不开的,现在正是地洼阶段的余动期,某些稀土风化壳矿区附近地形低缓,现代河谷中,可见反映地壳上升的阶地,风化壳矿床的形成正是需要这种缓慢的地壳上升的环境。

For example, the intrusive bodies of rare earth granites and subvolcanic rocks of this belt exposed the surface after the upper strata were eroded, as are some rare earth volcanic rocks Affected by the hot and damp subtropical climate in the south, the weathering has become a wide range of rare earth weathering crust deposits. Its formation is also inseparable from the tectonic function of the Quaternary. Now it is the active period of the Diwa stage.
