陈其美(1878-1916),汉族,字英士,浙江湖州人。1878年1月17日,出生于浙江吴兴,陈其美4岁随母识字,5岁能识字2000余,6岁入私塾。王一亭曾作画《英士群戏图》,题诗曰:“嬉游野烧已如炎,拊此方知智勇兼;迥异群儿能了了,养成大器不烦占。”以彰陈其美少年的聪慧,他读过七年私塾,15岁丧父。1891年,陈其美去石门镇一家当铺做工十二年,在典当行业中陈其美饱受磨练也历练了本 Chen Qimei (1878-1916), Han, word English, Huzhou, Zhejiang.
