The issue of government bonds has not only served to make up for the fiscal deficit but also serves as an important credit tool to a large extent, making it an important macro-control measure means. In the late 1990s, with the “soft landing” effect and the internal and external impact of the Southeast Asian financial crisis, China experienced a situation of slowing down of the domestic economy due to the lack of domestic demand. Based on the regulation and control of national debt, this article objectively analyzes the connection between the bond market and the expansion of domestic demand and puts forward the idea of ​​developing the bond market and improving the investment mechanism of national debt.
