奇装异服,行为古怪,被许多人看作是当代艺术家的标签。不过,这样的艺术特质并非始于当代艺术,早在《庄子·田子方》就记载了“解衣盘礴”的故事。而徐渭和凡·高更是个中两位杰出的前辈。命运给予了他们凡夫俗子难以望其项背的才华,却也施加给他们常人无法承受的磨难,于是他们常常徘徊在地狱的门口窥探世界最本质的美,他们的艺术也充满了癫狂之美。艺术家个体的悲剧和世人对美的再认识就此交织在一起。
