A batch of new species was screened from the wild soybean nodules collected in Liaoning Province. After indoor identification and pot experiment, it is preliminarily believed that some of the strains have a strong symbiotic effect on soybean. In order to be applied to the production as early as possible, it was tested in the area set up by the Agricultural Science Institute of Tieling City in 1984 and many experiments were conducted in Changtu and Xinbin from 1985 to 1987.
