山寨最早从消费电子产品中崛起,一方面因为市场的大量需求,另一方面也因为外资在行业中始终占据头牌,国内品牌的发展受到了技术、品牌因素的制约。联发科送来了芯片技术,以推动山寨席卷市场的方式,改变了产业格局。联发科的成功源自三流的科技、二流的服务和一流的市场。在外资的囹圄中,这个市场实现了一种自发的突破。山寨是对威权的解构,是草根生长的力量。作为追赶者,山寨几乎是不可避免的一个发展阶段。另一方面,小到一个企业,大到一个产业甚至是一个经济体,如果不能从山寨模式中迅速超越出来,长期沉迷于此,等到潮水退去,便永无翻身之日。山寨问题的根子是知识产权问题,但核心却是商业模式和发展路径的问题。

The root of the cottage issue is intellectual property issues, but the core is the issue of business model and development path.
