油菜蚜虫是我州油菜上的主要害虫。1978年因蚜虫为害油菜,菜籽损失近300多万斤。一、种类及为害情况西昌的油菜蚜虫有甘蓝蚜、萝卜蚜、桃蚜等三种。甘蓝蚜喜在叶片光滑有蜡质的甘蓝和甘蓝型油菜上为害;萝卜蚜则喜在叶片粗糙多毛的萝卜、番茄、青菜上为害;桃蚜喜在菠菜结籽期为害。油菜苗期,这三种蚜虫逐渐从菜地迁入油菜田,其中以甘蓝蚜为害最重,在油菜生长后期形成虫蜡棒。
