合作教育于1906年产生于美国的辛辛那提大学,该校通过实施“工学交替”、“工读结合”、“三明治”等模式,培养出一大批学校、社会、雇主皆满意的高级专门人才。我国自20世纪80年代引进合作教育模式以来,在许多工科院校的试行中取得了成功。为此,将这一被实践证明为行之有效的教育方式引入到新闻专业的教学过程中,对解决新闻专业存在已久的“学与术”、“理论与实践”的矛盾有着重要的意义。
