“Eight Pillars of Lanting” refers to the eight best calligraphic works.They are the“ Lanting Poems Calligraphic Model” by Yu Shinan of the Tang Dynasty,“Lanting Poems Calligraphic Model” by Zhu Suiliang of the Tang Dynasty“,Lanting Poems Calligraphic Model” by Feng Chengsu of the Tang Dynasty,Nei Fu Gou’s Fill-ins to the“ Lanting Poems in the Hand of Liu Gongquan of the Tang Dynasty”“,Lanting Poems” in the hand of Liu Gongquan engraved by Xi Hong Tangof the Qing Dynasty,“ Yu Minzhong’s Additions to the’ Lanting Poems’ in the hand of Liu Gongquan engraved by Xi Hong Tang,“ Dong Qichang’s Imitationof Liu Gongquan’s work“ Lanting Poem” and Emperor Qian Long’s imitation of“ Dong Qichang’s Imitation of Liu Gongquan’s work’ Lanting Poem’.Theseworks were copied in the Yuan Ming Yuan during the years of Emperor Qian Long.They were destroyed by the British-French Army in 1860.The remains were movedto Zhongshan Park in 1917.The article introduces the ink editions collected by the Palace Museum.
