Leech的礼貌原则与Grice的合作原则共同被视为言语交际的行为准则,但在实际的言语交际中,由于人际关系的复杂性,人们不仅遵守着礼貌原则来弥补合作原则的不足,为了达到不同的交际目的,人们甚至会违反礼貌原则以营造他们需要的效果。本文将从遵循和违反礼貌原则的两个角度来阐述礼貌原则在生活中的运用。
Leech’s Politeness Principle and Grice’s Cooperative Principle are both regarded as the code of conduct of verbal communication. However, in the actual verbal communication, due to the complexity of interpersonal relationships, people not only abide by the politeness principle to make up for the lack of cooperation principle, The purpose of communication is that people can even violate politeness principles to create the effects they need. This article will explain the application of politeness principle in life from the two angles of following and violating politeness principle.
