拱形挡土墙安全可靠,节省工程造价,能与周围环境相协调,在重庆地区得到了越来越多的应用,但现阶段暂无有关拱形挡土墙的设计和施工的现行规范可循。进行了相关的模型试验,并进行相应的数值模拟分析,得到拱形挡土墙的变形和受力特征。试验数据以及数值计算表明:相较于其他形式的挡土墙,拱形挡土墙结构更具有对称性,能较好的利用拱效应,将墙面荷载传递至拱脚,从而充分利用侧壁支持力以及摩擦力来平衡挡土墙所受填土侧压力;拱形挡土墙质量更轻,能承受更大荷载作用,荷质比最大,墙身变形量最小,能够更多的运用在重庆及川东地区等多为粘性土,并且建筑弃土也多为易风化为黏性泥土的泥岩块地区。
